The Westlake Meta4D Lab is an interdisciplinary, collaborative research laboratory aiming to push the limit in our understanding about the role of metabolism in human diseases. Our research focuses on three major goals:

The Westlake Meta4D Lab is equipped with cutting-edge instruments for metabolic analysis, including Mass Spectroscopy Imaging, High-resolution Metabolomics and Lipidomics, Raman Spectroscopy. Research at Meta4D lab will also benefit from the excellent core facilities and platforms at the School of Life Sciences and across Westlake University, spanning from high-throughput chemical screening, super-resolution imaging, genomics and bioinformatics, to multiple cryo-EM for structural analysis of macromolecules.
